Bright Bites for Dental Team

Bright Bites is a major oral health education initiative (for children aged 7 and up) developed by Dentaid with funding from the Department of Health. A Bright Bites “Teaching Pack” has been sent to over 17,500 Primary Schools in England potentially reaching over two million children.

Now is your chance to get involved with this exciting oral health programme!

Bright Bites can be used in structured oral health education within your practice, on a computer in your waiting room or can be sold to your patients for use at home.

Below is a description of all the Bright Bites resources available, specially designed to meet your practice needs:-

Teaching Pack – Identical to the pack received by English primary schools, the Teaching Pack includes an interactive CD-ROM, a teaching guide and 12 activity sheets each featuring experiments, games and quizzes to reinforce important oral health messages. Perfect for more structured oral health education within the practice!

Price £14.95 (including VAT)

Individual CD-ROM - Includes the interactive CD-ROM and instructions in CD insert sleeve. Purchase includes permission to run Bright Bites on a permanent workstation in the practice waiting room. Perfect to entertain and educate children while waiting for their appointment!

Price £9.99 (including VAT)

Retail Pack – This option allows dental practices to retail Bright Bites CD-ROMs to patients, encouraging home learning.

A retail pack includes 10 individually wrapped CD-ROMs. The 1st pack includes a free Perspex display case (pictured) and promotional materials. The CDs are supplied for £6 each to be sold for £9.99 (inc VAT)

Retail Pack - “Standard” option – Dentaid provides retail pack CD-ROMs for £6.00 each (excl VAT). The retail price is £9.99 (inc vat). Thus, after vat, the profit margin for the dental practice is £2.50 per CD-ROM sold!

Retail Pack - “Not-for-profit” option – Dental practices can elect for all proceeds from the sale of Bright Bites CD-ROMs to go to Dentaid (appearing as a vat-free donation on invoice – no separate donation needed). CD packaging and accompanying literature will reflect the practice’s generosity, encouraging patient goodwill as well as supporting Dentaid’s vital work improving oral health around the world.
