Welcome to the Bright Bites website!

Part-funded by the Department of Health, Bright Bites is a major oral health education initiative for children developed by the oral health charity, Dentaid. The Bright Bites resources, based around an interactive CD-ROM featuring Charlie (left), have been designed to exactly match the learning objectives and requirements of Key Stage 2 Science Unit (teeth and eating). Using educational mediums including games, quizzes, activities, experiments, pictures and video clips, Bright Bites is the most child-friendly and comprehensive oral health education resource ever produced.

Thanks to generous sponsorship from Aquafresh and Denplan, a Bright Bites education pack has been distributed free of charge to 17,528 state primary schools in England. Bright Bites resources can also be used by dental teams and health professionals across the United Kingdom.

This website is designed to provide additional support and information about Bright Bites for schools, teachers and health professionals.
